Pixar: Newt

”What happens when the last remaining male and female blue-footed newts on the planet are forced together by science to save the species, and they can’t stand each other? Newt and Brooke embark on a perilous, unpredictable adventure and discover that finding a mate never goes as planned, even when you only have one choice. Love, it turns out, is not a science.”

The plot stands for Newt, but the release date still hasn’t been announced, leading most to believe Newt has been cancelled, insiders supposedly saying:

“We have taken Newt off of our development schedule to allow our creative teams to focus on these upcoming projects.” and John Lasseter (Disney/Pixar animation head) declined to comment.

What d’you think?

Would Newt have been successful as Pixar’s other works?

    • I believe that was one of the reasons why they have seemingly trashed the process and at the very least put it on a firm halt until they can redo the plot enough to make it original enough to sell tickets.
